Accommodation

For accommodation, once you have been selected for internship or employment, there are 3 places in Auroville where you may live for the duration of your stay. Following are the email addresses/ phone number. You will need to call them individually and make your choice.

1. Usha, c/o Mitra Hostel, email: mitra@auroville.org.in, phone: +91.413.2909820 / mobile +91 9443003708 (91 = India) (about 4000/- per month with breakfast / laundry – prices subject to change)
2. CSR student house – there are 3 independent rooms with shared toilet and kitchen Depending on the availability the room can be reserved when your internship/ employment are confirmed with Auroville Design Consultants. 2016 -17 charges are Rs. 1500/- per month for the room, daily cleaning, electricity and water charges only, meals are prepared and paid directly by the occupants.
3. Renting of houses in the local villages; this option requires direct contact with the home owners and you; we may not be able to offer any help in this.
