This is a CBSE curriculum school set up and run by Auroville to allow the local village children to have access to high school education so that they could qualify for university level education. AVDC works closely with the NESS trust to ensure that the spaces conform to the regulations of CBSE while innovating with space design for better learning environment besides experimenting with solar passive envelopes using sustainable building materials and techniques.
