Suhasini Ayer Guigan – Principal Architect
Suhasini is a graduate of ‘Delhi School of Planning and Architecture’; living in Auroville since 1985 and one of the co-founders of the Auroville Centre for Scientific Research; an organisation dedicated to research and experimentation in the field of appropriate building materials and technologies, water management, renewable energy and solar passive/ climatic architecture and sustainable urban planning.
As head of the Auroville Design Consultants, the Planning and Design wing of this organization, she has designed and implemented over 50+ projects in India in the last 25+ years. She was co-recipient of the Hassan Fathy Award for ‘Architecture for the Poor’ in 1992, co-nominated for the Aga khan in 1992 and recipient of the Design Share Award for educational buildings in 2003 and 2005.
Gavury Ramadas
D.A.A. (Diploma in Architectural Assistantship): Women’s Polytechnic, Pondicherry, 2000-2003.
Gavury Ramadas is working with Auroville Design Consultants since 2003, as an Assistant Architect. She has work experience in master planning, housing, residential, institutional and renovation projects.
Ramya Prasad
B.Arch: Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (M.A.N.I.T), Bhopal, M.P, 2008-2013. M.Arch: Urban Design: School of Planning and Architecture (S.P.A), Bhopal, 2013-2015.
Ramya is working with Auroville Design consultants since 2015, as an Architect and Urban designer. She has work experience in master planning, housing, residential, institutional and renovation projects.
Gnana Arul
B.E. (Civil Engineering): Pondicherry University
Arul is working with Auroville Design consultants since 2015, as a Civil Engineer. He has work experience in housing, residential, institutional and renovation projects.
Maud Udin
B.Arch: Ecole d’Architecture de Paris La Villette, Paris, France 2009-2003. Facultad de Architectura Diseño y Urbanismo, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2007. Maud is working with Auroville Design Consultants since 2019 as an Architect and Interior Designer. She had 10 years of work experience in Paris and New-York in housing, residential, commercial, institutional and interior projects.
